Voice typing

Recording ideas using voice typing.
This week I showed 2 of my students how to use Voice typing to record their ideas for writing.
These 2 boys are struggling writers. They have low achievement in literacy.
It normally takes them at least 30 mins to type their ideas in writing.
I gave them 15 mins to have a tutu with voice typing.
What a difference it made. They were able to record so much more of their ideas.
Their writing sounds more natural and uses more language not just words that they
feel confident in trying to spell. As you can imagine these boys felt elated at what they
had achieved in such a short time.

Dealing with Data: W3 DFI :Using Google - My Maps

We collected information about the preferred holiday destinations of our DFI group.
We analysed the data using Google sheets and then we imported the information into Google Maps.

DFI Week 3 Dealing with Data:

:Google Form- Here is the Form I created today.

DFI 3 Dealing with Data

Using Data from Kohl-lee's Blog I used Google sheets to analyse her blog post data.
I was able to generate a graph. From the graph I could write this simple report.
